TWENTY-NINE INTERNATIONAL LEADING EXPERTS
+ THREE NETWORKING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EVENT OPPORTUNITIES
= ONE VERY SUCCESSFUL SRR 2010 CONFERENCE

Thank you to all of the sponsors, supporters, delegates and guests for your contribution to an overwhelmingly successful conference.
The SRR 2010 Conference was a professional, premier event complimented by a strong attendance of industry professionals from a broad range of disciplines.
Those who attended were mostly from Australia with a 10% attendance from China and the US.

We have had good feedback since and am confident in saying that the next SRR Conference will be bigger and better yet again – we have set a very high benchmark.
It is rewarding to know that so many people walked away with a better understanding of all of the processes involved with brownfield sites and the products and services offered to help reduce the margin of risk within the brownfield’s environmental arena, even on an international scale.
Your feedback is appreciated and we would like to know your thoughts in how to improve the next SRR Conference.

What did you learn from the SRR 2010 Conference?
The SRR 2010 brought Australian, American and Chinese industry practitioners together to focus on current topics and discussed the various learnings experienced across a number of countries and environments.
The approach to a brownfields site involves a range of disciplines and activities so as to minimize the risk in the development of the site. Topcs covered included:
- Regulatory requirements - State and Country comparisons
- Legal implications - A must in today's world of regulations and litigation
- Financing options - The money side of things
- Insurance insights - Minimizing the short and long term risks of polluted sites
- Environmental impact advice - How to avoid a disaster and minimize risk
- Infrastructure case studies - Planning the real needs of roads to the role of the developer
- Corporate perspective - Through the eyes of a company and "pockets"
The conference delivered a range of information based on a simple hands-on approach, allowing delegates to gain professional advice through interactive sessions and presentations and encouraged networking.
The conference agenda also included a Welcome Cocktail Party, a Major Conference Dinner with special guests H.E. Ambassador Zhang Junsai and Mr. Dan Callahan, an Exhibition area and a special informal luncheon with Terry Tamminen, Former Secretary of the Californian EPA and Chief Environmental Policy Advisor to Governor Schwarzenegger.
